Indications

Treatment of idiopathic or hereditary pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) to increase exercise tolerance and reduce disease symptoms in patients classified as New York Heart Association (NYHA) class III.
 

Mechanism of action

Treprostinil is a prostacyclin analogue. It exerts a direct vasodilating effect on the pulmonary and systemic circulation, and inhibits platelet aggregation systemic.the circulation

and inhibits platelet aggregation.
